There are four different programs run on a rotational basis. You will always compete against people of the same standard as you. You might find yourself in a race with a 12-year-old, a 20-year-old or even a 60-year-old. We occasionally have athletes in the same race as their parents! The 22-23 track and field program is available here.
Look for the NSAC table in front of the Administration Building at the track. Our T&F Manager and Club Captains will show new athletes how the competition works.
Joining a training squad under the guidance of one of our accredited coaches is a great way to begin athletics. You will be able to learn new skill in a safe and supportive environment. More information about coaching is available here.
Joining the NSAC "family" is as simple as registering via the link. The cost of registration for the 2022-23 season is $270 ($220 for U/12 years) which includes registration with Athletics Tasmania, Athletics South levies and a small NSAC membership fee. Note that this fee also includes the 2023 Cross Country season.
Our emblem is the Magpies and our club colours are proudly black and white. We have a selection of club uniforms available for purchase at affordable prices.
